Hi, I'm Darren, the creator of Direction Green – a space dedicated to inspiring greener living in Cambridge and beyond.
With a background in web development and a passion for the environment, I started this site to bring together practical tips, local resources, and creative ideas for anyone wanting to live more sustainably.
Like many people, I’ve become increasingly aware of the impact our everyday choices have on the planet.
From the products we buy to how we travel, eat, and dispose of waste – small changes can add up.
I believe that a greener lifestyle doesn’t have to be expensive or overwhelming, and that positive change starts with sharing knowledge and making informed choices.
My Values
I am passionate about the environment, animals and nature and treating it with kindness and respect. I'm also passionate about not being judgemental and allowing the space for people to not be 'perfect' in their journey with me to being green.

I've lived here a long time and seen the changes this historic town has gone through.
